Job Overview:
The position of Associado/a de Gestão is integral to the Plural Justice Program, a partnership between the National Justice Council and UNDP. This role involves supporting the technical coordination of the program, which aims to strengthen the Brazilian judiciary's capacity to promote human rights and access to justice for vulnerable populations. The Associado/a de Gestão will be responsible for strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation of program activities, and ensuring the quality of technical outputs. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including team members and institutional partners, to achieve the program's objectives effectively. The role also emphasizes the importance of addressing the specific needs of marginalized groups, including children, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, indigenous populations, and others affected by socio-environmental issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning and Monitoring: Support the technical coordination in planning and executing program activities, tracking the achievement of established goals and objectives. Maintain and update monitoring systems, identify deviations, and propose necessary adjustments. Prepare periodic reports analyzing performance, indicators, and recommendations for coordination.
  • Document Production and Review: Assist in producing and reviewing technical reports, conceptual notes, memoranda, and opinions, ensuring clarity and quality of content. Systematize relevant information and data to support the development of publications and program outputs. Organize and maintain official program documentation in collaboration with the knowledge management team.
  • Coordination of Meetings and Institutional Communication: Organize and participate in meetings, preparing minutes and technical notes, and following up on agreed actions. Facilitate communication and information flow between the program, CNJ, UNDP, and other institutional partners. Attend technical meetings or institutional events as requested.
  • Event Organization and Logistics: Support the organization of events, workshops, and meetings, including logistics, necessary materials, and preparation of presentations and speeches. Collaborate with the communication team to disseminate information about program activities.
  • Administrative and Operational Management: Assist in managing contracts and terms of reference, ensuring compliance with CNJ and UNDP regulations. Monitor administrative processes, such as document processing, accounting, acquisitions, and control of institutional schedules and deadlines. Identify potential risks and propose practical solutions for urgent demands and unforeseen issues. Perform other administrative and technical activities necessary for the program's smooth operation as directed by coordination.
  • Institutional Articulation and Partnerships: Contribute to mapping and articulating strategic partnerships, strengthening the institutional role of CNJ and UNDP. Participate in recruitment actions, launching calls for proposals, team integration, training, and development in collaboration with UNDP and other partners.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Development: Participate in training and organize informative meetings on internal procedures for the project. Support other capacity development activities, including designing and implementing tools, materials for workshops, or platforms that leverage community intelligence and mobilize actions. Disseminate and share relevant data and lessons learned within the country and regionally. Contribute significantly to knowledge networks and communities of practice, supporting the compilation and systematization of project knowledge, products, and tools, and their broad distribution to partners. The incumbent will perform other functions within their functional profile deemed necessary for the project's successful operation.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum education requirements include a High School diploma. A University degree in Administration, Public Administration, Law, Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Management, or related fields will be given due consideration but is not a requirement. Relevant professional experience is required, with a minimum of 7 years for those with a High School diploma or 4 years for those with a University degree in project management, public or private management, advisory roles, public policy management, or information management. Desired skills include experience with information technology and MS Office Suite, experience with the Judiciary System, project management or monitoring experience, preferably in the public sector, international organizations, or social impact organizations, and familiarity with access to justice, human rights, socio-environmental rights, vulnerable populations, social policies, or related areas.

Educational Background:
The position requires a minimum of a High School diploma, with a University degree in relevant fields such as Administration, Public Administration, Law, Social Sciences, International Relations, or Public Management being advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience:
Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience for those with a High School diploma or 4 years for those with a University degree. Experience should be in areas such as project management, public or private management, advisory roles, public policy management, or information management.

Languages:
Fluency in Portuguese is required, while a basic level of English is desirable. This language proficiency is essential for effective communication and documentation within the role.
