Job Overview:
The position of Associado(a) de Comunicação is integral to the project aimed at enhancing the Brazilian Judiciary's capacity through innovative methodologies and educational actions. The role involves creating communication strategies and products that cater to various platforms and audiences, focusing on the training and improvement of judges and judicial staff. The project targets approximately 18,000 judges and up to 40 judicial schools, aiming to strengthen the justice system in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing internal communication materials, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting advocacy efforts to promote the project's objectives. This role is crucial in ensuring effective communication within the project and with external partners, thereby contributing to the overall success of the initiative.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associado(a) de Comunicação will have a diverse set of responsibilities including:
  • Producing and managing journalistic content, creating articles, social media posts, newsletters, and reports based on technical inputs.
  • Adapting journalistic language and formats to suit different audiences and channels.
  • Developing institutional materials such as brochures and reports to disseminate the project's actions.
  • Supporting communication strategies and engagement efforts by proposing topics, organizing campaigns, and identifying engagement opportunities with strategic audiences.
  • Assisting in internal communication by producing bulletins and reports for project teams and coordinators.
  • Monitoring media coverage and identifying opportunities for press engagement.
  • Producing diagnostics and reports to document challenges and advancements in the communication area.
  • Supporting the overall functioning of the project by performing additional tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of a high school diploma, with a university degree in Social Communication, Journalism, or related fields being preferred. A minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in journalism, communication advisory, or corporate communication is required for candidates with a high school diploma, while those with a university degree must have at least 3 years of experience. Strong oral and written communication skills, experience in journalistic writing, and proficiency in MS Office and multimedia content creation for social media are essential. Additionally, experience working with justice system entities and in education, justice, and human rights projects is highly desirable.

Educational Background:
The minimum educational requirement for this position is a completed high school diploma. However, candidates with a university degree in Social Communication, Journalism, or related fields will be given due consideration, although it is not mandatory.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience for candidates with a high school diploma, or at least 3 years for those with a university degree. Experience in journalism, communication advisory, corporate communication, or related fields is essential to meet the demands of the role effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory for this position, as the role involves extensive communication in this language. A basic level of English is desirable, which would enhance the candidate's ability to engage with international partners and resources.
