Job Overview: The Senior Strategy Advisor will be a key member of the Resettlement, Asylum and Integration (RAI) team at IRC headquarters. Duties and Responsibilities: The Senior Strategy Advisor will have a range of responsibilities, including supporting and maintaining systems that facilitate RAI’s annual goal-setting and performance monitoring. This involves ensuring that leadership has timely visibility into departmental progress and priorities. The advisor will oversee the development of departmental objectives and key results, working closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategic directions into measurable outcomes. Additionally, the advisor will support the design and execution of monitoring and performance management systems, including the development of indicators and reporting mechanisms. They will independently drive quantitative modeling efforts, conducting data analysis and validation to support data-driven decision-making. The advisor will also lead funding gap analyses to identify resource constraints and provide recommendations for prioritization. Ongoing support to the Strategy & Planning team will be required, including assistance with key strategic projects, organizing meetings, developing materials, and producing quantitative analyses. The advisor will represent the Strategy & Planning team in cross-functional forums, ensuring that RAI’s strategic priorities are well-represented, and will provide general administrative support for team projects and operations.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Senior Strategy Advisor position should possess at least 5 years of progressive experience in strategy, operations, project management, or a similar role within a complex, global organization. They should have a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and cross-functional projects with minimal oversight. Experience in developing quantitative analysis and modeling to synthesize complex data and track performance against strategic targets is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to design, manage, and improve organizational systems and processes, such as goal-setting frameworks and governance routines.
