The consultant will work collaboratively with experts to generate actionable insights that will guide the evolution of primary health care systems. The position requires a strategic approach to identify emerging global trends, articulate a vision for strengthening immunization programs, and foster partnerships to enhance global immunization efforts. The consultant will be responsible for producing a major report and various materials to communicate findings to different audiences, thereby playing a key role in shaping the future of immunization and health systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator Consultant include:

• Identifying and analyzing emerging global trends that will impact immunization programs.
• Collaborating with countries, experts, and global partners to articulate a vision for resilient and adaptable immunization programs.
• Fostering strategic partnerships to enhance global immunization efforts.
• Generating plausible scenarios for the future of immunization and providing actionable recommendations for policy, investments, and health system reform.
• Leading the development of a major report and accompanying materials to effectively communicate findings.
• Organizing and managing project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensuring that all project activities align with UNICEF's mission and values.
• Conducting regular assessments and evaluations of project progress and outcomes.
• Preparing and presenting reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the Project Coordinator Consultant position include:

• A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional work experience in project management at national or international levels.
• Knowledge of public health projects and themes, particularly in immunization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience working on multilateral projects that require liaison with senior staff within partner organizations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and establish harmonious working relationships.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree or an advanced university degree in business administration, project management, public health, social sciences, or other relevant fields related to international development. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of public health and project management in a global context.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience in project management, with a focus on public health and immunization. Candidates should have a proven track record of managing complex, multi-partner projects and coordinating research initiatives. Experience in developing and implementing strategies for health system reform is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of another UN language such as Spanish, French, Arabic, or Russian is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's profile.
