Job Overview: The Organizational DevelopmentIntern position is designed to provide support to the OHCHR Strategic Planning, Programme Management, Evaluation and Change Service (SPECS) Functions, particularly in the area of organizational transformation. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a range of tasks, including: conducting research and compiling information from various sources, particularly focusing on the role of Behavioral Science in achieving program impact; assisting in the development of communication materials such as reports, presentations, concept notes, infographics, and videos related to relevant initiatives; providing secretarial, administrative, and logistical support for meetings, boards, committees, and conferences; and undertaking any additional tasks as directed by the Senior Programme Management Officer. This role requires a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: (a) be enrolled in or have completed a second university degree, equivalent, or higher; or (b) be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent). While previous work experience is not mandatory, having a field of study closely related to the internship, such as Behavioral Science, Social and Behavioral Change, Psychology, or Human Rights issues, is considered advantageous. Excellent drafting skills in English are essential, and candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their proficiency in this area.
Educational Background: Candidates should possess a relevant educational background, ideally in fields such as Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Sciences, or Human Rights.
