Job Overview:
The position of Alternant(e) in Formation is designed for an individual who can provide support to the training department. The role involves managing the organization of training sessions both in the field and at headquarters, as well as contributing to the development of learning systems, whether in-person or online, for the benefit of Action contre la Faim teams. The candidate will be responsible for organizing various training sessions, including integration seminars and professional training, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently. This includes inviting participants, confirming registrations, and managing communication logistics. The role also requires preparing educational materials and ensuring the administrative follow-up of training sessions, such as preparing and archiving attendance sheets and entering follow-up data into the relevant tools. Additionally, the candidate will implement training evaluations, create questionnaires, draft reports, and monitor indicators for continuous improvement. The position also involves assisting trainers and participants in using training tools, supporting the Training Engineering Coordinator in deploying the Integration Seminar in country offices, and updating and sharing the annual training schedule with coordinators. The candidate will also contribute to the creation and enhancement of pedagogical systems, assisting in the design and implementation of new learning and skill development projects, and enriching methods and techniques for training delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Alternant(e) in Formation include:
  • Organizing in-person and online training sessions, including integration seminars and professional training.
  • Managing logistics for training events, including participant invitations, registration confirmations, and venue bookings.
  • Preparing educational materials and animation tools for training sessions.
  • Conducting administrative follow-up for training, including attendance tracking and data entry.
  • Implementing training evaluations by creating questionnaires and drafting reports.
  • Managing the creation and distribution of training certificates.
  • Occasionally facilitating integration seminars.
  • Supporting trainers and participants in using training tools effectively.
  • Assisting the Training Engineering Coordinator in deploying the Integration Seminar in country offices. 1
  • Communicating and updating the annual training schedule with coordinators. 1
  • Providing support for the organization of PDC training in collaboration with the Learning and Skills Development Officer. 1
  • Contributing to the creation and improvement of pedagogical systems for both in-person and online training. 1
  • Assisting in the enrichment of training methods and techniques. 1
  • Creating tutorials and support materials for internal trainers. 1
  • Assisting in the management and facilitation of Learning and Development Instances within ACF.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a training program related to pedagogy, such as instructional design, educational sciences, or learning resource development.
  • Technical skills in designing and deploying pedagogical systems, demonstrating creativity and knowledge of various models.
  • Proficiency in office and collaborative tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Experience in organizing internships and training activities, showcasing planning, anticipation, and coordination skills.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) and authoring software (e.g., Storyline, Rise, Genially).
  • Experience with HR software for data consultation, entry, and queries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, adaptability in communication, and the ability to build trust.
  • Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple activities effectively.
  • A strong sense of organization and attention to detail. 1

Educational Background:
Candidates should have a background in pedagogy or a related field, ideally pursuing a degree or certification in instructional design, educational sciences, or a similar discipline that equips them with the necessary skills to contribute effectively to the training department.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have some level of experience in educational settings or training environments, particularly in roles that involve organizing training sessions or developing educational materials. While specific years of experience may not be mandated, familiarity with pedagogical concepts and practical experience in training coordination will be advantageous.

Languages:
Proficiency in professional English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered a plus, enhancing communication within the diverse teams at Action contre la Faim.

Additional Notes:
This is an apprenticeship contract lasting 12 months, with a desired work rhythm of 3 days on and 2 days off, or 3 weeks on and 1 week off. The position is based in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis). Salary is based on the legal minimum, adjusted according to age and level of education, spread over 13 months. Employees are entitled to 21 days of RTT (reduced working time), prorated based on presence, and 25 days of paid leave, also prorated. Health coverage and insurance are provided, with 80% covered by ACF. Transportation costs are reimbursed at 50% for travel between home and work. Meal vouchers are partially funded by the organization (60% coverage, valued at 8 euros). Additionally, employees receive 175 euros per year for social activities and discounts on cinema tickets. Remote work options are available, but the role may require prolonged sitting, oral communication, screen work, and telephone contact.
