Job Overview: The Project Coordinator for Gender Equality will play a crucial role in advancing gender equality and women's leadership within decision-making processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This position involves coordinating efforts to empower women and adolescent girls, designing and implementing training programs, and overseeing civic education initiatives aimed at increasing women's participation in public life. The coordinator will also be responsible for providing technical support to audit institutions and parliamentary bodies, ensuring that gender-responsive budgeting is integrated into their practices. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the aforementioned areas, combined with two years of qualifying work experience, will be considered. Applicants with a Master’s degree are not required to have professional work experience, while those with a Bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience at the national or international level. Desirable criteria include experience in implementing programs addressing gender-based violence (GBV), organizing training sessions, and expertise in mainstreaming gender equality into project implementation.
